About Us

The Diamond Peak National Ski Patrol (DPNSP) started in 1969 by Dusty Trembly who had been patroling the mountain since it's opening in 1966. Dusty has since recieved the NSP's Distinguished Service Award, so be sure to take a run down Dusty's Delight next time you're on the mountain.

DPNSP is a proud member of the National Ski Patrol, a federally chartered, volunteer-driven, nonprofit membership association established in 1938. The association's 27,000+ members and 600 patrols represent 98% of the nations's paid and volunterr ski/snowboard patrollers. The DPNSP consists of 40 volunteers and 12 paid patrollers. Over 95% of our patrollers return year after year, over half of them for over five years

Diamond Peak is located on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe Nevada, nestled into the community of Incline Village and is ran by the Incline Villge General Improvement District.
